A bit about me
I’m an experienced Creative Director and Designer with an extensive background in creating engaging content, delightful user interfaces, and captivating brand experiences. Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated the ability to drive engagement across social and digital platforms, working for and with notable brands that include Chicago Tribune, EBONY, Hearst Magazines, Orbitz, and Ticketmaster.
Becoming an Entrepreneur
After a decade of assuming creative leadership roles, I was burned out, I had lost my passion. So in 2015, I quit my corporate gig and took a much-needed sabbatical–a planned hiatus that would only last a year, transformed into a full-time consultancy. I now work on projects I’m passionate about while establishing long-term client relationships across the country.

Director of Creative + User Experience (UX)
Responsible for the organization’s creative direction and ideation process that drives brand equity, member engagement and end-user satisfaction. I led a cross-functional team that creates innovative and usable solutions that span the scope of social media, e-mail marketing, display campaigns, website and mobile app development and emerging technologies through digital storytelling.
Associate Creative Director
Managed client relationships and participated in pitches, new proposals and creative reviews, representing the agency’s creative and ideation process at all stages of the account engagement. Supported the VP/Group Creative Director by directing creative team members, spanning the Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and San Francisco offices.
Director of Creative (TicketsNow)
Recruited by the SVP of Marketing into the newly formed head of creative role for sister company TicketsNow, I owned the strategic creative vision and direction of promotional media assets in print, radio, digital and social media. I also managed the development and overall effectiveness of the design and web content team members.
Creative Marketing Manager/Art Director
Promoted from Art Director to Department Manager, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the multidisciplinary team of 17 employees. Responsible for the conceptualization and execution of print, out-of-home, mobile and display media campaigns for the company’s diverse brand portfolio.
Point person for display media campaigns, optimized landing pages, marketing collateral of various TI business units and advertising pitch creative for B2B clients. Managed high-level projects as design lead and cross-department liaison. Coached Associate Ad Producers.

Graphic Designer/Jr. Art Director
Concepted and designed celebrity and lifestyle feature story layouts for EBONY and Jet Magazines, in addition to developing advertising creative and package design for Fashion Fair Cosmetics.
Concepted and designed editorial feature layouts and B2B advertisements for Giftware News Magazine (U.S. and U.K. Editions) and Homestyle Magazine.
